Absolute Encoders
Absolute encoders output a unique digital position value for every shaft angle, retained after power loss. Single-turn variants resolve one revolution, multi-turn variants count revolutions via gear or electronic stages. Typical use is in servo axes, robot joints, rotary tables, lifting gear, and valve actuators where homing runs are not acceptable.
Most units in the assortment cover a measuring range of 0 …360 °, with extended versions starting at -60 ° or -120 ° for offset zero positions.
Ambient temperature ratings concentrate on -40 …+85 °C for outdoor and mobile equipment, -20 …+85 °C for general factory use, and -25 …+85 °C as an intermediate option.
Wide-input supply 5 …30 VDC and 10 …30 VDC variants cover 24 V control cabinets and 12 V mobile hydraulics. Pre-assembled cables come in 1 m and 2 m lengths.
The assortment is dominated by Turck inductive encoders and IPF miniature analog units. High-frequency models reach 150 kHz and up to 900 kHz update rates. Standard configurations cluster around 555 EUR, with premium analog-output variants at 641 EUR and 787 EUR.
